Teenagers were dangerous.
Bored teenagers even more so.
Bored and horny teenagers were, perhaps, the most dangerous group of people to walk the planet.
They had all planned to go to the park for a picnic and games when the rain began to pour. Luckily they had decided on a contingency plan: gather at Orihime’s apartment with all the indoor games you could find.
They’d quickly split off into groups, the girls settling themselves on the floor with the board games, the boys setting up card games at the dining table, and Mizuiro and Tatsuki commandeering the video game console.
After continually getting his arse kicked in cards (damn Ishida and his luck, he cursed), Keigo decided that simply playing games wasn’t enough. After all, it wasn’t often that all the boys and girls got together. He should seize the opportunity with both hands!
“I was thinking…” Keigo started as Ichigo was shuffling, but Tatsuki interrupted him, not missing a beat as she bashed away on the controller.
“I agree.” Mizuiro added distractedly, eyes glued to the television. “It’s very dangerous. The doctors say if you do it too often, your head will explode.”
“Shut up!” Keigo cried. “Why are you all so mean to me?”
“’Cause you make it easy?” Ichigo suggested as he started to deal out the next round.
“I was thinking!” Keigo shouted, ignoring the insults, “How about we make this day… interesting?”
Tatsuki paused the game and turned to face him. “What do you mean?”
Keigo chuckled evilly. “Playing for nothing isn’t interesting enough, don’t you think?”
“You wanna bet money on this?” Mahana asked unsurely from the floor. “I’m not very good at playing these games…”
“Not money, oh no, that would be too easy!” Keigo leapt onto the table (“Get off, you idiot!” Tatsuki swiped at his legs) before declaring, “I think we should play strip games!”
Ten pairs of eyes stared at him in shock.
“You have got to be kidding me.” Tatsuki muttered.
“I’m not taking my clothes off!” Michiru covered her chest protectively.
“No one will be taking their clothes off, Keigo is an idiot if he thinks we’re playing along.”
“Not true!” Chizuru jumped in before cackling evilly. “It is a gamble I’m willing to take, after all.”
“A gamble?” Mizuiro asked.
“Yes, a gamble!” Chizuru stood on the table next to Keigo (“Get off, the both of you!” Tatsuki cried). “Keigo, I commend you for this idea. It finally gives me a legitimate reason to look at the Valley of the Gods! That’s right, ‘Hime, I want you to play so I may gaze upon your beauty!” She licked her lips.
“Oi!” Ichigo spoke up. “That’s my girlfriend you’re talking about!”
“She is wasted on you, Ichigo! Only a woman can truly appreciate her!” Chizuru complained and she and Ichigo glared at each other.
“I think it sounds like fun!” Orihime piped up to everyone’s shock.
“Orihime!” Ichigo and Tatsuki cried in dismay but Keigo and Chizuru high-fived each other.
“Yes! Inoue-san is in!”
“Orihime,” Ichigo bent down to whisper to her, “you realise playing means taking your clothes off, right?”
“You make it sound like you don’t believe I’ll win!” she pouted.
“I don’t believe you can win every round. That means you’ll have to take off something eventually.”
“Not to worry, Ichigo!” she pecked him reassuringly on the cheek. “I have very good luck!” She stood to get up on the table (“Not you too, Orihime! Plus, everyone can see your panties!” Tatsuki complained) and shook Keigo and Chizuru’s hands.
The game was on.
They quickly decided that strip poker was the easiest to play so the three set themselves up around the table. Ichigo and Tatsuki stood behind Orihime and shared a worried glance.
“You do realise you’ll have to step in at some point if things don’t get well, right?” Tatsuki muttered to him out of the corner of her mouth.
“Duh.” Ichigo rolled his eyes. “I’m not letting those perverts get a peek at Orihime.”
As it turned out, Ichigo didn’t have much to worry about. Orihime had been right; she did have very good luck. By the time Keigo was down to his undershirt and underwear, Chizuru was down to her bra, underwear and shirt. Orihime, on the other hand, had only taken off her socks and jacket.
“Full house!” she cried happily. “I win!”
“What?” Keigo and Chizuru cried in disbelief.
Keigo banged his head on the table. “I give up! Obviously my eyes were never meant to see the Valley of the Gods.”
“Damn straight.” Ichigo said loudly as Orihime pushed back her chair to stand.
“I’m hungry,” she patted her belly, “can we go out for dinner? Or else I can cook…”
Everyone chorused that going out for dinner seemed like the better idea (“We’d feel bad if you cooked for all of us,” Tatsuki lied on their way out to the restaurant) and they quickly left before she changed her mind and decided that cooking jelly bean udon for them would be better than going out to eat.
“That was lots of fun!” she told him once they were back at her apartment and he gave her a relieved smile.
“I’m very glad you were lucky.” he admitted but was surprised when she gave him a cheeky grin.
“Luck? Please! I happen to be very good at games. I bet I can beat you at any of these games.” she boasted and Ichigo sat up a bit straighter.
“Why, is that a challenge?”
“It is, indeed. In fact, I’m so nice, I’ll even let you pick the game.” she smirked. “After all, I don’t want you to have any excuses when I kick your butt.”
Ichigo bit his lip to keep from laughing. “You’re on!”
He bent down to look at the video games they had to choose from. After watching her play at cards, he’d have to be the biggest idiot to challenge her at that. Frankly, he had the best chance of beating her playing one of these.
“And we’re placing a wager on this, yes?” she asked innocently but when he turned to look at her, he could see a spark of mischief glinting in her eyes.
“Well, who better to play strip video games with than your boyfriend?” he asked, playing along.
“Hmm. Sounds like fun.”
They settled on Mario Party, deciding that the variety of games made it a more even playing field. After winning the first three rounds, Ichigo was feeling pretty smug.
“Why, I believe I haven’t taken off a single item of clothing while you, Inoue-san, have taken off three.”
She was still smiling. “I have to give you a head start. Otherwise it’s just not fair.”
Three more rounds and Orihime had managed to make a miraculous comeback. Ichigo blamed the games they played; they clearly suited her better. But after losing the next two, he was down to his underwear and he was wondering how she was doing it.
“Why,” she said, throwing down her controller after winning another round, and was now grinning broadly, “I believe that I have still got plenty of clothes, while you,” she traced a finger down his bare chest, “have only one. And I do believe you owe me one more item of clothing.” She ran her finger down to the band of his boxers before snapping the waistband playfully.
“Yes, I suppose I do.” he sighed dejectedly, although he couldn’t stop the corners of his mouth from twitching into a smile.
“Well, Kurosaki-san,” she stood and pulled him up to his feet before she gave him a Cheshire grin, “I believe you owe me your pants.” She wiggled her fingers threateningly before using them to claim her prize.
He laughed and, as he felt her hands tug down his underwear, he found it hard to feel like a loser.
